Despite having a good season, Atletico Madrid are headed towards yet another trophyless season as they were knocked out of the Copa del Rey by Barcelona, out of the Champions League in controversial circumstances by Real Madrid and are 10 points off the La Liga title lead from the Catalan side. However, Gallagher will stay put at the club this summer as the Rojiblancos look to gain silverware yet again.
