Mourinho has repeatedly caused controversy in his first season at Fenerbahce, with Galatasaray previously accusing him of making "racist statements". The ex-Chelsea boss, who received a four-game ban earlier this season, then sued the Turkish giants and now he is potentially in trouble again. This latest incident has reportedly led many fans to call on him to resign.

Abola adds that if Mourinho's actions are considered an 'attack', Article 44 of the Turkish Football Disciplinary Regulations decrees that an offending party can be banned for five to 10 games. If this nose-grabbing incident was deemed as 'unsportsmanlike behaviour', a ban could be from one to three matches.
