Ten Hag is under huge pressure to keep his job at Old Trafford. United are 14th in the Premier League and they seem to be going backwards, despite spending around £200 million ($261m) on players this summer. Ex-Chelsea bosses Thomas Tuchel and Graham Potter are also reportedly being considered by the Red Devils as a potential replacement.

Terzic has had two stints as Dortmund manager, the first of which was between December 2020 to June 2021 as an interim boss and the second was from May 2022 to June 2024. In his first spell he led them to DFB-Pokal cup success but in his most recent time in the dugout he had a superior win percentage (66.94 vs 62.5).
