Werner joined Spurs back in January 2024 and went on to score only two goals in the Premier League that season. The next term, he featured in 18 matches, but failed to find the back of the net. Moreover, he didn’t get a place in the matchday squad for the Europa League final against Manchester United, which Spurs won, but he was seen in the stands and celebrated the trophy win later.
