According to our recent poll, a very slight majority of Tottenham fans want to see Lucas Moura benched by Mauricio Pochettino for the North London derby on Sunday.

The Brazilian winger has had a strong start to the season, thanks to the fact that he finally managed to get a full pre-season under his belt after his move from Paris Saint-Germain in January this year.

However, unfortunately for Moura, Heung-min Son is starting to hit top form again after his slow start to the campaign. Against Inter Milan in the Champions League, Moura struggled to make an impact and the game was completely changed as Son replaced the 26-year-old around the hour mark, with Tottenham going on to grab a late goal to snatch a 1-0 win.

Moura missed a gilt-edged chance earlier in the game though and it’s clear that this wastefulness won’t be accepted in such a hotly-contested derby. Check out the full results of our poll below.
