Real winger Munoz missed a crucial scoring chance in the 89th minute of El Clasico on Sunday, with his side trailing 4-3 against their bitter rivals at the time. Carlo Ancelotti's side failed to find an equaliser and after the loss, which has all but ended Los Blancos' title hopes, a section of Madrid fans directed abuse at Munoz on social media, with some even calling for the 21-year-old to retire. In response, Munoz has since disabled the comments on his Instagram account.

Munoz came on for an injured Vinicius Junior in the 88th minute and was immediately presented with a golden opportunity. Kylian Mbappe threaded a sublime through ball into the box, finding Munoz in a one-on-one situation with goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny. However, the youngster couldn't keep his composure and fired his shot off target, with Real failing to find an equaliser.
