Rangers fans are hoping that midfielder Jordan Rossiter is in line for a first team return after he was missing from the club’s Development Squad for a mid-week match against Manchester United.
The Light Blues reserve side went up against United’s youth side yesterday afternoon and given the former Liverpool’s man involvement in recent weeks, many were surprised to see him not feature.
Rossiter has suffered injury problems since making the switch to Ibrox and supporters are worried he may have suffered a relapse after his latest return to training.
However, there’s also speculation it simply means he’s set to be included in Sunday’s first team matchday squad for a clash with Hamilton.
When fit, Rossiter is one of Rangers’ best prospects in midfield and has shown glimpses of quality in his 10 appearances for the club so far.
Is Graeme Murty ready to re-introduce him into the senior side?
