Pawar’s mammoth323-ball innings had one six and 26 boundaries. He was involved in a huge245-run partnership off 62 overs with fellow opener V Chelvaraj who made abrilliant century off 194 balls. He hit ten boundaries. G Dhiman (44) wasgiven out when he hit the ball twice. VK Vinayak chipped in with a useful 40.In reply, Goa were sent packing for 187 off 73.2 overs. G Dhuri topscored with an unbeaten 75. He hung around for 121 deliveries but ran outof partners. He hit 13 boundaries in his patient innings. Moinuddin was thewrecker-in-chief bagging five wickets for 64 runs. Goa followed on and weredismissed for a similar total of 187 in 83 overs. S Bhandekar topscoredwith 48. Dhiman bagged three for 51 and Moinuddin picked up two for 30runs. Karantaka got eight points.
