Bellingham was not at his best in that fixture, but still managed to tee up Vinicius Junior for the 83rd-minute goal that ended the game as a contest. The 20-year-old finished the season with 23 efforts to his name across all competitions.
WHAT BECKHAM SAID
Bellingham also has Kopa Trophy and Golden Boy honours on his impressive CV, while being a contender for the 2024 Ballon d’Or. Former England captain Beckham has, while soaking up the sunshine in Miami, saluted those efforts by posting on Instagram alongside an image of him striking a famous pose: “HEY JUDE!! What a first season. CHAMPIONS!”
WHAT NEXT FOR BELLINGHAM?
Beckham did not got his hands on the Champions League trophy while on Real’s books, but did conquer Europe with Manchester United. He also landed the Liga title in Madrid, with Bellingham emulating those efforts in a season that is not done yet – with the all-action midfielder about to head off on Euro 2024 duty.
